My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1545. I got it with Vista Ultimate with XP Professional downgrade. I can say it has been a good laptop. Just some issues with the touch pad it only needed to be adjusted. Now it seems to work good. I also have a Windows 7 Ultimate Upgrade I may install Windows 7 someday but for now I am sticking with XP. I did install Windows 7 once and was not crazy about it. I think I could deal with Vista better just not sure. I may just install Vista when I get ready I am not sure. I have heard that Windows 7 was just a makeover of Vista with some tweeks. Also I heard it was a copy of Mac OS.

Just an update. I still have the 1545 and it is still running XP. Yes it is time for a new one I know. I could just install Windows 7 on it and keep it for awhile. I love Windows 7 now. I love it as much as XP.

I like 7 and XP too. They're both great!
