I know this should be in reviews but oh well.
I have always wanted to build my own desktop. I have usually had hand me downs I got a used 486 in like 1996 or so with Windows 95 that is all I really remember. Then I bought a Compaq in 1998 Windows 98 First ED A few months after it was released. I paid like $1,800. The Compaq died in like 2001 or 2002 I cannot remember. I then purchased a Celeron 433 Mhz it was a custom built from ABSPC owned by NewEgg. Then in 2004 I purchased a used Gateway p4 you can find the post on Winboards about it. Then I bought a Acer Laptop in 2007 with Vista Home. Then in 2009 I bought a Dell I hated Vista so I got the Dell with XP Pro installed it was Vista with downgrade (They sent both disk) I have had other computers 2 other Gateway's and several other 98 machines. Last year I wanted a new laptop and I knew 8 was no good and I really could not afford it but I purchased a Dell Inspiron 3000 3542 with Windows 7 Home Premium. The this year I sold the Compaq Windows 7 AMD desktop and got a HP Pavilion Elite HPE-000 Core i7 2.8GHz 4GB 500GB Windows 7 Blu Ray off ebay. I am using that desktop right now. I wanted a Quad core and this is the best deal I found. It has Windows 7 Professional instead of Home. It has been good.

And this desktop is still running. It is running Windows 10 Pro. Just thought I would share.
